We Have Our Dining Room Table Back!

Yesterday, J. decided to move the drywall off our dining room table and stand it up. This would serve a dual purpose. We could have our table back and the bow that was forming in the middle of the dry wall could straighten out before we finish hanging it.

This morning, during breakfast, the kids were trying to make things out of their napkins. Monkey made a "Robin Hood hat," and I just had to share this picture with you. Keep in mind, the kids were coming up with the folds all on their own.

Too bad I can't give you a 3-D view of her "hat". Two dimensions just don't do it justice.

I'm just glad it was two red eyes and not one red, one white.

WOW. I have trouble folding them flat and making them look nice! GOOD JOB, MONKEY! And how cool of you, Mom, to let them fool around like that. Lots of moms would freak out at having a kid put a napkin on their head. You rock, Brandi!

Have a great weekend!

Thank you. J. started it the night before. He and the kids were playing with their napkins while they waited for me to finish making or serving dinner or something. As they were playing, he told them about one of their aunts who used to have to fold napkins into different shapes, etc. for banquets.

FYI: I referenced this napkin folding event in my latest advice column. :O) xoxo
